FAQ

Does Chapel Hill Primary Care accept my insurance plan?

Chapel Hill Primary Care is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Wellpath.   The practice has a “non-par” status with Medicare meaning that we accept Medicare patients but they need to pay in full at the time of service.  The claim is then filed on the patient’s behalf and the Medicare reimbursement comes back to the patient directly at a slightly lower reimbursement rate.

The practice welcomes out-of-net work patients but patients must pay up-front and in full at the time of service.  The claim is then filed on the patient’s behalf and the out-of-network reimbursement is sent directly to the patient by the insurance company.
